Lidia Kim

Dr. Lidia Kim is a senior scientific researcher at the National Research and Development Institute for Industrial Ecology - ECOIND. With over 11 years of experience, she has expertise in controlling, monitoring, and assessing environmental pollution and waste management. She has conducted numerous studies on developing new methods for identifying emerging pollutants in various environmental matrices such as soil, water, waste, sludge, etc. Additionally, she has developed comprehensive methodologies for assessing waste hazardousness.

She is actively involved in research projects, having coordinated nine projects and worked as a team member in over 15 research projects. Dr. Kim has served on the scientific committees of several international conferences and is the Co-Chief of the Scientific Committee of the International Symposium "Environment and Industry" (https://www.simiecoind.ro/comitet-stiintific). At the national level, she is included on the list of experts who assess enterprises' research and development activities in the advanced functional materials domain.

She has published over 50 scientific articles and presented 30 papers at various scientific events.
