Dr. Shen Yu is an eco-environmental scientist, who achieved his Ph.D. in soil science at Zhejiang University (China). His research interests are directed to “Anthropogenic Environmental Changes and Ecological Adaptation” with recent focus on “pharmaceutical residues (including illicit drugs) and environmental resistance”.
Dr. Yu is the founding editor in chief of the journal “Watershed Ecology and the Environment”. Currently, he is appointed as a visiting scientist at Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies, USA, a visiting professor at University of Helsinki, Finland, and an adjunct professor at Xiamen University, China. He was elected as Vice Councilor of Fujian Ecology Society in 2023, serving the term 2023-2028
